Sometimes it is necessary to write an application, for example to the Migration Department, but this will require a qualified digital signature. Most asylum seekers cannot obtain it because they do not have a residence permit (only if they have a residence permit there will be available asmens kodas, which is needed to obtain a digital signature — ed.)
Is there an alternative? Where can an asylum seeker who does not have a residence permit can obtain such a signature?
In this case, you can use a third-party document signing service DocuSign (we do not promote this service – upon registration you will be enough free version for 30 days and without a bank card — ed.) Some government institutions, for example, the Department of Migration, allows you to submit applications signed with such a signature.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This signature is not a full-fledged substitute for a qualified digital signature. Institutions may or may not accept it as an equal at their convenience.
After you register your account, you can add a signature by drawing or uploading a picture.
Now you can upload files to be signed. You do not need to enter recipients.
A virtual envelope is formed and its ID is stamped on the sheets.
After clicking the “DONE” button, a window will appear with a suggestion to send the document to other recipients. Click “No, thank you” as this format is not suitable for us.
At the end our signed document can be downloaded together with the certificate. It is not necessary to provide this certificate to anyone, so it is enough to download only the document itself.
